Iwatsu Opens Technology Research Center in Silicon Valley
San Jose, CA · March 3, 1998: Iwatsu America, Inc.
today announced the opening of the Iwatsu Technology Research
Center in San Jose, California. The mission of the center
is to accelerate the innovation of Iwatsu telecommunication
products by fostering new developments in the emerging computer
telephony and wireless communications markets. Complementing
the research on technology, Iwatsu's engineers will also
explore factors in business and their relationship to technology
and future product development.
One of the most vital tasks of the Iwatsu Technology Research
Center is to develop and maintain working alliances with
high tech companies, industrial research labs, and leading
universities. The fruition of these alliances coupled with
the requests of the individual Iwatsu business units will
drive the efforts of the office staff.
