Iwatsu Announces the Release of the IX-CNFBOX-1 Eight-Party
Conference Bridge for ADIX
Carlstadt, NJ · February 26, 1998: Iwatsu America,
Inc. today announced the release of the IX-CNFBOX-1 Eight-Party
Conference Bridge for ADIX.
The IX-CNFBOX-1 Bridge is an ADIX system circuit card that
supports a conference call of up to eight-parties. Up to
five IX-CNFBOX-1 cards may be installed in the system. When
connected together, five IX-CNFBOX-1 cards will support a
conference call that may include up to 40 parties.
The IX-CNFBOX-1 card provides the following features when
utilized in an ADIX, ADIX-M or ADIX-S system.
Eight-Party Conference Call. A maximum of eight system extensions
and outside lines may be joined in a conference call. The
eight-party conference may include any combination of up
to eight system extensions and seven lines depending on line
type.
40-Party Conference Call. Up to five IX-CNFBOX-1 cards may
be installed in the system and connected together to provide
a maximum of 40 parties in one conference call. The 40-party
conference call may include any combination of up to 40 system
extensions, and seven lines depending on line type.
Analog Line Amplification. An option to the IX-CNFBOX-1 card
will automatically amplify analog line connections to insure
superior voice quality.
